Job summary

OEI in Dallas, TX is seeking a Civil Professional Engineer (PE) to design, develop, and oversee infrastructure projects across the United States. You will apply advanced engineering principles to roads, bridges, water systems, and public facilities while collaborating with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams.

We value licensing, 5+ years of civil experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and REVIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, REVIT and similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review project documentation including reports, cost estimates, and construction plans.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate project progress and resolve technical issues.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and engineering technicians.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into projects.
