RVE, an Ardurra Company, seeks a Civil/Municipal Engineering Intern for our Egg Harbor, NJ office. You will assist with municipal infrastructure and site design projects, gaining exposure to the full design and development process from planning through permitting.

This internship focuses on hands-on experience with engineering software, data collection, and technical documentation, while contributing to real-world public works.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Interest in civil infrastructure and local government projects.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil and municipal design tasks, including roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, wastewater, and site improvement projects.
• Support project data collection, basic engineering calculations, reports, specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Prepare plans, exhibits, maps, and other design documents for municipal and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review civil drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Support field investigations and site visits to document existing infrastructure and site conditions.
