About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil or Mechanical Engineer to join our Water team in Washington (Bremerton, Puyallup, or Seattle). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater pumping systems. In this role, you will play a key part in project delivery, serve as a Deputy Project Manager, and support client engagement for pump station projects with local municipal clients and water purveyors.

You Will:

  • Design and support the management of water/wastewater projects, including plans, specifications, and engineering documents.
  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and schedules.
  • Oversee mechanical design aspects, including pump selection, piping layouts, and system optimization.
  • Provide knowledge of mechanical infrastructure for pump stations and treatment plants, including HVAC systems, equipment integration (motors, VFDs, and controls), and rehabilitation of aging infrastructure to enhance efficiency and longevity.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • PE license required, with 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
  • Experience in pump stations, treatment plants, pipelines, and HVAC preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or hydraulic modeling tools.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $115,000-$140,000.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
