Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Hawaii State Bar in good standing.
• 3–5 years of post‑admission civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, analytical, writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and case management.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently while collaborating with a team.
• Sound professional judgment, attention to detail, responsiveness, and client service commitment.

Responsibilities

• Case Strategy & Management: Manage a diverse caseload from initial assessment through resolution.
• Legal Research, Writing & Motion Practice: Conduct research and draft pleadings and briefs; argue matters in court as appropriate.
• Discovery & Evidence: Draft/respond to discovery, manage document review, take depositions, develop factual records.
• Hearings, ADR & Trial: Prepare for hearings, mediations, arbitrations; assist with trial strategy and witness examinations.
