Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Downtown Miami is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal with recent trial experience to join a respected litigation firm. You will own cases from inception through trial, supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation and managing calendars, pleadings, and discovery.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal work, especially in trucking, insurance defense, or general liability matters, with strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience.
• Recent trial experience is required.
• Background supporting trucking, insurance defense, general liability, or complex civil litigation matters.
• Experience managing large case files and high-volume discovery.
• Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom support.
• Draft and manage pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics.
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, discovery, deposition transcripts, and case documents.
• Prepare trial exhibits, notebooks, chronologies, and document productions.
• Maintain case calendars and monitor critical deadlines.
• Handle electronic filing in Florida state and federal courts.
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
