Job summary

The United States Attorneys' Offices, Western District of Kentucky, seeks a Case Manager to provide a range of legal and administrative services to AUSAs handling complex civil matters. You will manage case flow, assist with discovery, and support trial prep in Louisville, KY.

Responsibilities include organizing discovery, researching factual and legal issues, drafting documents, and coordinating exhibits and witnesses for courtroom presentations.

Qualifications

• One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service.
• Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree (e.g., LL.B. or J.D.), or 2 full years grad education.
• For GS-11: Ph.D. or LL.M., or 3 full years of grad education in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Intake and organize discovery materials in various formats.
• Conduct factual and legal research in support of investigations and cases.
• Analyze evidentiary materials and prepare documents.
• Draft, proofread, and edit legal filings and related documents.
• Support courtroom presentations and identify exhibits and witnesses.
