This role is ideal for an attorney with experience in motor vehicle accident or premises liability cases who can manage their workload independently and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. No client contact, no court appearances—just focused, high-level legal drafting and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and oppose summary judgment motions, including all related briefing
  • Review and analyze case files, deposition transcripts, and discovery documents
  • Manage your own motion calendar and ensure timely, high-quality submissions
  • Communicate with supervising attorneys—minimal oversight required

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York State
  • JD from an accredited U.S. law school
  • 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience (motor vehicle or premises liability preferred)
  • Proven ability to draft and oppose summary judgment motions
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously in a mostly remote environment
