Patterson Buchanan Fobes & Leitch is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5 to 10 years of civil litigation experience to join our Seattle or Tacoma office. You will represent clients in state and federal courts, draft pleadings, manage discovery, and develop litigation strategies while advising on risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
• 5 to 10 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with motion practice, depositions, hearings, and case management.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil litigation from inception to trial and appeal.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts, and in mediations/arbitrations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions and manage discovery.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide practical advice to clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Advise clients on dispute resolution, risk management, and compliance.
