Confidential Employer. is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney in Castle Rock, CO, to represent clients in diverse civil disputes and develop courtroom skills alongside experienced attorneys. This in-person role offers meaningful matters, ownership of cases, and a collaborative team.

You will manage discovery, pleadings, and negotiations while building client relationships and delivering practical legal advice. Active CO bar license and 1+ years of civil litigation are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Colorado Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with litigation pleadings, motions, discovery, and case preparation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent individuals, businesses, and organizations in civil litigation matters, including contractual and commercial disputes.
• Manage cases through discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, court hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Analyze evidence, evaluate legal risks, and provide clear, practical legal advice to clients.
• Negotiate favorable resolutions while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive communication, professionalism, and effective advocacy.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm while independently managing case responsibilities and deadlines.
