ADP, Inc. is seeking an Associate Attorney for the Grand Rapids, MI area.

The role involves attending 5 to 15 civil court hearings weekly across Michigan, whether virtually or in person, while preparing pleadings, conducting legal research, and negotiating settlements with opposing counsel. You report to the Managing Attorney and collaborate with the Attorney team to ensure accuracy and compliance in all work.

Formación

• Juris Doctorate required; waiting on MI Bar exam results.
• Admitted to MI State Bar; multi-state bar admissions a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Attend 5 to 15 civil court hearings across Michigan weekly, virtually or in person.
• Prepare legal pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Coordinate with Managing Attorney and report activity and results.
• Maintain compliance with data security and confidentiality.
