Compensation: 150,000.-180,000. / Annually

Our client, a leading litigation law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for a Mid-Level Civil Litigation Attorney, to join our winning team in New York City.

Our candidate of choice must bring 5+ years of civil litigation experience handling the defense of Automobile and Premises Liability matters. This is a hybrid role!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
• At least 5 years of experience handling the defense of Automobile and Premises Liability cases in the State of New York.
• Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions, perform legal research and respond to discovery requests.
• Previous experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions independently.
• Prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations.
• Taking and defending depositions
• Preparing and filing dispositive motions
• Ability to prepare comprehensive status reports for insurers
