Qualifications

• Litigation experience preferred.
• Highly organized, detail oriented with exceptional communication, analytical and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct insurance defense/liability litigation.
• Perform legal research and analysis of statutes and case law.
• Develop strategies, evidence, and arguments for trial.
• Prepare discovery requests/responses, pleadings, subpoenas, and medical composites.
• Maintain professional client communication via regular correspondence, email and virtual calls.
• Organize and electronically maintain case files.

J.D. from recognized law school accredited by the American Bar Association and a member of the Florida Bar. Litigation experience preferred. Must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess exceptional communication, analytical and writing skills.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Insurance defense/liability Litigation. Conduct legal research and analysis of applicable statutes and case law. Develop strategies, evidence, and arguments in preparation for trial. Prepare a variety of legal documents such as discovery requests and responses, pleadings, subpoenas, and medical composites. Strong focus on professional and useful client communication, including regular correspondence, email and virtual calls. Uses computer programs and document management systems and takes advantage of technology to enhance job performance. Organizes and electronically maintains case files. Maintains the firm’s core values of honesty, integrity, accountability, teamwork, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and client commitment in order to support a positive work environment.
