Job summary

Gpac has partnered with a Madison law firm to recruit a Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience. The position emphasizes trust and estates matters within a civil litigation emphasis and offers a clear path to partnership.

You will manage matters from strategy through resolution, draft pleadings and motions, take depositions, and advise clients while building lasting client relationships in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the Wisconsin state bar.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong civil litigation background; trust and estates experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to provide excellent client service.

Responsibilities

Experience with trust and estates litigation is ideal, but the firm is open to attorneys coming from other areas of civil litigation who have strong litigation skills and an interest in developing their practice in this area.
