Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking an Associate Attorney – Litigation in Denver, CO, to manage civil matters from filing to trial. The role requires preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery, and taking or defending depositions in court.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, active Colorado bar admission, and at least four years of civil litigation experience, with preference for insurance-related litigation. This is a full-time, on-site position with the Legal Services department.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Colorado, in good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience taking/defending depositions and handling dispositive motions.
• Insurance litigation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions and appear in court.
