You will draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and represent clients in trials, arbitrations, and mediations with real responsibility and direct access to firm partners.

You’ll manage day-to-day litigation tasks, hit billable targets, and provide strategic advice grounded in practical courtroom experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Proven ability to draft and argue motions.
• Comfort navigating the California court system.
• Skilled at depositions and witness examinations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle substantive litigation work from day one with direct access to firm partners.
• Draft and argue motions with precision and persuasiveness.
• Take and defend depositions; represent clients in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Provide strategic counsel to move cases forward and manage client expectations.
• Own your docket and meet billable targets while collaborating with the team.
