Northwest Arkansas law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation practice, handling real estate, construction, and business disputes with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment. The role requires the ability to take on a caseload immediately and deliver practical guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Arkansas bar in good standing.
• Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with real estate, construction, contract, or business disputes is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Represent clients in real estate, construction, contract, and business disputes.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Develop case strategies and provide practical legal guidance to clients.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other involved parties.
• Assist with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
• Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and billable-time records.
