Job summary

The Associate Attorney will join our litigation team to represent clients in civil cases from inception to resolution. You will conduct research, draft pleadings and briefs, negotiate settlements, and attend hearings as needed while developing case strategies with colleagues.

Hybrid work location in the United States; must have a J.D., admission to the bar in the relevant state, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and laws.
• Proficient in legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Litigate civil cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
