Duties:

1. Represent insurers and insureds in civil litigation matters involving personal injury, property claims, and general liability.
2. Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
3. Participate in and take the lead on depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
4. Assist in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
5. Evaluate complex coverage issues for domestic and international clients.
6. Provide strategic input on case assessments and mitigation planning.
7. Work closely with partners on multifaceted, high-stakes litigation across jurisdictions.

Requirements:

1. 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation at a law firm or through a judicial clerkship.
2. Substantial experience with first-party property, insurance coverage, or general liability defense.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
4. Strong legal writing, analysis, and research capabilities.
5. Excellent verbal communication and client-interaction skills.
6. Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.
