Job summary

About the role

Your Impact Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Land Development Engineer to support our growing Florida operations

This position will focus on site development design permitting and project delivery for a variety of residential commercial institutional and municipal projects You will play a critical role in delivering high quality engineering solutions managing design efforts and coordinating directly with clients and regulatory agencies across Florida

What your day to day will look like

• Perform detailed land development design includingSite grading and drainage plans
• Stormwater management and water quality systems
• Water wastewater and utility infrastructure
• Roadway and access designPrepare and oversee construction drawings calculations and specifications
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater systems and drainage basinsUtilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and or MicroStation and related design software for production and design leadership
• Lead permitting efforts for land development projectsPrepare and submit permit applications and respond to RFIsRAIs through approval
• Ensure compliance with Florida agencies FDEP Water Management Districts local municipalitiesMeet with clients to establish project vision scope and design intent
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agenciesManage multiple projects while maintaining budgets schedules and quality standardsProvide quality control review of plans and calculations

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer license in Florida

Must haves what you will bring

• 5 years of land development engineering experience
• Experience in site design grading drainage and utilitiesStrong knowledge in stormwater design and permitting in FloridaProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D andor MicroStationExperience managing or independently executing design tasks and projectsAbility to multi task across projects and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering plans and surveys

Compensation

The pay range for this role is 100000 to 130000 Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience and certifications
