Job summary

HM STAFFING SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a construction laborer to support site operations. Responsibilities include site cleanup, material handling, and following safety procedures to maintain a productive worksite.

The role requires 1–2 years of construction experience, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least 18 and able to pass background and drug screening.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment/materials up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites.
• Shovel materials to and from construction areas.
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks manually and with equipment.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Must be able to work individually or within a team.
• Ability to work in all weather.
• Must be punctual, reliable and be a hard worker.
• Count truck loads: direct trucks where to dump, sign in tickets, track time and load count, ensure PPE when exiting trucks.

HM Staffing is looking for some LONG TERM laborers to join our team! The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project. The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day may include the following:

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Shovel materials to and from construction areas.
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Following instructions from supervisors
• Must be able to work individually or within a team
• Ability to work in all weather.
• Must be punctual, reliable and be a hard worker.
• Count truck loads entails: directing trucks where to dump, sign in tickets, keeping track of time and load count, assuring trucks are lowering their bed before leaving jobsite and making sure drivers are wearing their PPE when they get out of trucks.
