Job summary

Ledge Creek Development Inc. is seeking a general laborer to support utility and civil construction operations. The role involves digging, trenching, material handling, and site cleanup on outdoor job sites in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of utility infrastructure, while following Foreman directions and safety rules per OSHA standards. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old by start date.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required at hire or within 90 days.
• 3 years experience in utilities, telecommunications, civil construction, or related field (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Commercial Driver License or willingness to obtain (preferred).
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and medical card evaluation.
• Knowledge of basic construction safety practices.
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs digging, trenching, shoveling, loading and unloading materials, setting structures and site cleanup.
• Assists with job site setup, maintenance, and breakdown.
• Follows directions from Foreman or Site Supervisor to support daily project activities.
• Safely operates hand tools and equipment per company policies and OSHA standards.
• Works effectively as part of a crew in fast-paced outdoor environments.
• Maintains accurate timesheets and daily work records.
• Drives to and from job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor.
• Complies with all safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
