Job summary

The ideal candidate will read grading plans, use GPS/laser grading tech, and perform routine equipment maintenance. A CDL or heavy equipment certification is preferred, with potential overtime based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating bulldozers and trackhoe excavators in civil construction.
• Ability to read and understand grading plans and site layouts.
• Familiarity with GPS and laser grading technology is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and equipment maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various weather conditions.
• A valid CDL or heavy equipment operator certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers for grading, leveling, and soil compaction.
• Operate trackhoe excavators for excavation, trenching, and digging for foundations or pipes.
• Read blueprints and site plans to guide tasks and grading stakes.
• Maintain and perform basic pre-operational inspections on equipment.
• Work safely on outdoor construction sites and coordinate with the crew.
