Job summary

Cardinal Civil Contracting is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Kernersville, NC team. You will operate bulldozers and trackhoe excavators to dig, grade, trench, and lay pipe while maintaining safety and efficiency on diverse job sites.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, inspecting equipment, and coordinating with crew leaders to meet project specs. A CDL or operator certification is preferred, with potential overtime for major projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating bulldozers and trackhoe excavators in civil construction.
• Able to read grading plans and site layouts.
• Familiarity with GPS and laser grading tech is a plus.
• Strong safety knowledge and equipment maintenance understanding.
