Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Knoxville, TN seeks a full-time Civil Graduate to contribute to design, analysis, and implementation of projects under a licensed P.E. supervisor.

You will assist in plans, grading, drainage, and utilities, while coordinating with technicians and multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and an EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited).
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months from start date.
  • Internship experience with civil design firm beneficial.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects (grading, drainage, utilities).
  • Analyze design alternatives to address site constraints and meet client objectives.
  • Prepare technical reports, studies, and documentation using MS Office.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop solutions and ensure quality.

Job Description:Pape-Dawson is seeking a full-time Civil Graduate in our Knoxville, Tennessee office following December graduation. This position will contribute to the successful design, analysis, and implementation of projects within an engineering team.
