Job summary

ENGEO seeks a Senior Engineer in Guam to lead geotechnical projects, mentor junior staff, and build strong client relationships. You will manage complex projects, contribute to business development, and collaborate with engineers, geologists, and support teams across ENGEO’s global offices.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and proactive problem solving in a dynamic, client-focused environment. Guam-based office presence is expected.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of engineering project management experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in a U.S. state or territory and can become licensed in Guam within 6 to 8 months.
  • MS in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Engineering specialization (minimum).
  • Experience with settlement, slope stability, seepage, and foundation design and construction; deep and shallow foundations.
  • Seismic and GIS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set an example for client service, timely delivery, professionalism, AR management, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Lead and manage complex projects with limited oversight.
  • Mentor and train junior staff from design scoping through construction completion.
  • Develop professional relationships with engineers, geologists, and support staff in Guam and beyond.
  • Represent ENGEO with clients, partners, and industry groups.
  • Engage proactively in business development.
  • Seek efficiencies and improvements in internal processes.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Position Summary

As a Senior Engineer at ENGEO, you will collaborate with peers and technical leaders on a diverse array of challenging and globally recognized projects. Your role involves upholding the company's values while providing support and mentorship to junior staff. You will manage complex and geotechnically challenging projects, fostering relationships with clients, teaming partners, and ENGEO's exceptional worldwide staff. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in building and expanding business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of ENGEO.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Set an example for behaviors including exceptional client service, timeliness of project delivery, professionalism, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining a positive attitude in challenging circumstances.
  • Lead and manage complex projects with limited oversight.
  • Be a resource for professional advice, technical mentoring, and training support for more junior staff from initial design scoping through construction completion.
  • Develop professional relationships with engineers, geologists, and support staff in and outside of the Guam office.
  • Represent ENGEO with clients, teaming partners, and industry organizations.
  • Engage proactively in business development.
  • Look for efficiencies and methods to improve internal processes.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements

The anticipated salary range for this role is $90,000–$115,000. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, education, skillset, and market conditions.
