Job summary

Crowder is seeking a carpenter foreman in Georgia to lead a crew on heavy civil construction projects. You will supervise work to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with supervision and project management.

Responsibilities include planning, measuring from blueprints, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Required: 2+ years as a foreman, strong communication, and ability to read plans. Benefits are listed, salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a carpenter foreman.
• Able to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill of civil-type construction with supervision.
• High school and/or trade school diploma preferred.
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license and meet Crowder's standards for drivers.
• Must be a good communicator, motivator, and team player.
• Should understand all tools of the civil trade.
• Able to read plans and do general layout; familiar with forming systems and elevations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the crew and ensure safety at all times.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily tasks to meet project goals.
• Read drawings and blueprints; measure and shoot grade/elevations.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and materials; manage time sheets and reports.
• Train crew on new procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
