Job summary

Alpha Inc. in Hawai'i seeks an experienced Civil Foreman to lead from the front on heavy civil projects. You will own the jobsite, manage crews, uphold safety standards, and ensure work meets schedule and spec requirements.

You will coordinate with management, read blueprints, and drive productivity while mentoring team members and protecting the crew on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a Civil Foreman or in a similar leadership role in heavy civil construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable working in a Mac environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Serve as the primary link between field crews and management — no dropped balls, no surprises.
• Lead people by assigning tasks based on skill and project needs; set clear expectations and hold crew accountable.
• Enforce all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free site.
• Read, interpret, and execute construction drawings, plans, and specifications; adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to support budget targets and report progress.

What You’ll Do

Own the Jobsite

• Lead daily field operations to ensure projects are completedsafely, on schedule, and to spec.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsite at all times.

Drive Quality & Productivity

• Read, interpret, and execute construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Monitor work quality across all activities and correct issues before they escalate.
• Adjust daily schedules based on priorities, weather, and resources to keep production moving.

Control the Details

• Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to support budget targets.
• Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and needs to supervisors.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are followed consistently.

What You Bring

Experience & Qualifications
