Job summary

Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to join our Civil/Environmental team in Connecticut.

You will design sanitary sewers, wastewater pump stations, water systems and subsurface disposal projects for municipal and institutional clients. Responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, specifications, and presenting to land use commissions. The role is primarily office-based (95%) with some field visits, requiring strong communication, organization and

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT required; Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and clear communication skills.
• Strong writing, organization and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under supervision or independently.

Responsibilities

• Civil/Environmental design of sanitary sewers, wastewater pump stations, and water systems.
• Familiarity with CT DEEP and CT DPH design and permitting criteria.
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications in detail.
• Presentations to land use commissions and clients.
• Work primarily in-office with some field and site visits.
