Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, are pursuing FE exam, and bring 0–2 years of experience with familiarity in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Passed or scheduled to take the FE Exam (EIT preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience (internships/co-ops preferred).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Basic understanding of site design, stormwater management, and grading.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of site development projects including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
• Support preparation of construction drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
• Perform basic hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater systems.
• Assist with storm sewer, culvert, and erosion control design.
• Support permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Conduct data analysis and use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology models).
• Participate in field visits and construction observation as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers on project deliverables.
