Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead land development and municipal infrastructure projects in Overland Park, Kansas. You will manage projects from concept through construction, coordinating with clients and internal teams on design, schedules, and budgets.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 5+ years in land development or municipal engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office; a PE license is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of land development/municipal engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, design, and execution of land development and municipal projects.
• Lead project teams and provide technical guidance to engineering and production staff.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations and reports related to grading, drainage, paving, water, and wastewater systems.
• Oversee the development of construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend client meetings and ensure project objectives, schedules, and budgets are met.
• Support permitting and approval processes with local jurisdictions and governing agencies.
