GPD is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager in our Columbus, OH office location to provide management and coordination of multi-site design programs with national clients.

The ideal candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering.
  • 9+ years’ experience.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and coordinate with multidiscipline engineering and architectural design teams.
  • Experience navigating through various entitlement approvals such as planning, zoning, engineering, architectural review boards, etc.
  • Experience with multi-site development design and development programs.
  • Ability to create site plans following client and local code requirements.
  • Ability to effectively read and understand site and building construction drawings.
  • Ability to work on various development projects in different stages simultaneously.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Some travel required for site visits, planning and zoning meetings, meeting with local jurisdictions, etc.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Leads the site design and documentation of retail and restaurant buildings including ground up, tenant fit out, and remodel type projects.
  • Develops project objectives, scope, and schedules by working with the Client and determining project requirements.
  • Establishes and monitors detailed project plan.
  • Meeting and communicating with clients daily/weekly as determined required.
  • Project Administration.
  • Construction administration.
