Position Summary

SeamonWhiteside is seeking a talented Civil Engineering Project Manager for our Charlotte, NC office.

Description

The Civil Engineering - Project Manager will develop skills in project, employee, and client management. The role requires proficiency in civil engineering design, project management, leadership, and client communication. Responsibilities include overseeing project success, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring quality standards, and mentoring team members. The position also involves continuous professional development and leadership within the firm.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 5-10 years’ experience, preferably in civil engineering design or construction

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and project teams
• Prepare permitting and technical reports
• Assist in project planning, design, and construction administration
• Manage project resources and mentor staff
• Engage in community and professional development activities

Desired Skills

• PE license or EIT certification
• Knowledge of project proposals, coordination with consultants, and project management
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to review civil design work and manage multiple projects
