Role Description

This full-time, hybrid Civil Engineering Professional role is based in Cypress, TX. The role involves supporting the planning and design of sports facilities, recreational complexes, and land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing civil engineering plans and reports, performing technical analyses related to water resources and site infrastructure, and assisting with permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies. The Civil Engineering Professional will collaborate with project managers, architects, construction crew leaders and other team members to ensure design solutions meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards, and will help oversee project progress from concept through construction support. The role also includes communicating with clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate project documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and workflows.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills relevant to site development, infrastructure, and sports facility projects.
• Water Resource Management skills for stormwater, drainage, and related hydraulic/hydrologic analyses.
• Project Management skills to coordinate tasks, manage schedules, and support delivery of multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong Communication skills for collaboration with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; PE licensure in Texas is preferred.
• Proficiency with civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar), and familiarity with Texas codes and permitting processes.
• Ability to work on-site in Cypress, TX, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Experience in sports facility, recreational, or land development projects is a plus.
