Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Civil Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will also be tasked with leading a team of engineers, providing them with guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. This is a permanent position that requires a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for civil engineering, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead a team of civil engineers, providing them with guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Review and approve project designs and reports.
• Provide technical expertise and advice to team members and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
• Continuously monitor and report on project progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer License Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of commercial grading experience in civil engineering.
• Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Manager or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in using civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
