Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC is seeking a motivated student for a Civil Engineering internship focused on site development. You will review zoning rules, prepare due diligence reports, and assist in the design of grading and stormwater systems.

You will gain exposure to AutoCAD, hydrology tools, and related engineering activities. Expect hands-on experience on real projects, dedicated mentorship, and opportunities to explore multiple disciplines within our nationwide organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at a College/University or related field relevant to Civil Engineering
• 0-2 years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential and/or commercial/industrial/site design)
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle to travel to site locations
• Familiar with AutoCAD to aid in site plan production
• General knowledge of hydraulic and stormwater design programs
• Strong design and drafting capabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review zoning and land development ordinances to determine development limitations
• Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports
• Prepare Conceptual Site Plans and preliminary Grading Plans
• Design Stormwater Management and conveyance systems
• Prepare technical reports on drainage and sanitary sewer
• Prepare correspondence to agencies, clients, and contractors
• Assist in site design and permitting tasks
• Pursue hands-on experience across multiple disciplines within Dynamic
