Job summary

Clark Dietz internship program offers hands-on civil engineering experience on municipal infrastructure and roadway projects. You will join a team performing site surveying, inspections, and documentation under guidance from experienced staff.

Ideal candidates are Civil Engineering majors with CAD proficiency and strong communication. Compensation ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, with mentorship and safety gear provided.

Qualifications

• Declared major in Civil Engineering and interest in Construction, Transportation or Structural engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents; research specs and codes as needed.
• Ability to perform basic calculations to compute quantities and analyze data.
• Good organizational skills with detail orientation and versatility under guidance.
• Effective communication and listening skills with willingness to learn.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley ORD, MicroStation) and MS Office.
