Job summary

Entellus, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT, invites you to join our civil engineering internship. You'll support project teams on land development, water resources, and site design tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering, possesses strong writing and communication skills, and is self-motivated with a keen eye for detail. The internship is full-time during the summer and part-time during school.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Civil 3D and AutoCAD drafting experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other staff to perform basic design tasks and drawings using CAD related to the development of conceptual land development projects.
• Perform standard computations and analysis and research assignments.
• Support preparation of final design plans, cost estimates, and special provisions.
• Collect data and gather information or documents.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

As an Entellus intern, you'll be part of a team, working for our clients on a wide variety of civil engineering, water resources, and land development projects with our most experienced engineers. Please note: The ideal candidate would work full-time during the summer and at least 12 hours a week around their school schedule.
