Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our 2027 summer program with the Water/Drainage Team. This on-site internship provides hands-on experience in planning, design, and analysis of water resources projects.

You'll assist engineering teams with research, drawings, and documentation while developing basic engineering skills in hydraulic/hydrologic analysis, flood control, and sustainable water strategies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry and algebra.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
