Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to gain real-world experience on transportation projects. You will work under the supervision of a Professional or Project Manager and participate in mentoring programs with recent graduates and leaders within HDR's Transportation Business Group.

The role focuses on applying standard engineering techniques, solving problems, and contributing to the design of highways, bridges, and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Minimum 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
