Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Pensacola, FL, is seeking Civil/Environmental Engineering interns to support water resources and water/wastewater projects.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree seeking program in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or another closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
• Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm
• Relevant coursework or projects
• EIT or on track to obtain
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

We’re seekingCivil and Environmental Engineering Interns with an interest inWater Resourcesand Water/Wastewater Engineeringto support the delivery of cutting-edge projectsforboth local and global clientsin Pensacola, FL.

As a Water Resources Engineer or Intern work wouldinclude development and application of environmental and water resources analyses,to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planningand design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects;performingresearch, technical writing, and development of documentation and studiesas well as data collection, processing, and analysisto support water resources planning activities.

Ifmore interested in theWater/Wastewater side of things your work could include avariety of water treatment projects includingproviding field investigations and water quality testingon full-scale water and wastewater treatment facilities;conducting water treatment facility pilots,desktop treatment analysis including using membrane performance projections and mass/flow balances;evaluations, design, and commissioning.
