Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Bellevue, WA seeks Summer Interns for 2027 across Construction Management, Roadway, Transportation, Rail and Aviation groups. The role is on-site with no relocation or housing provided, supporting assigned department tasks during the internship.

Interns will assist engineer teams with research, drawings, and documentation while gaining exposure to infrastructure projects. Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited engineering program and demonstrate basic engineering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering coursework.

Our Bellevue Office is hiring 2027 Summer Interns to make an impact in our Construction Management, Roadway, Transportation, Rail and Aviation groups. Please note that this is an on-site opportunity, and relocation assistance or housing is not provided.

What You'll Do

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program

You'll Bring

• Understands engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles at a basic level.
• Shows proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Accepts and applies direction from peers and supervisors.
• Obtains an understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures and requirements.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations
• Ability to organize information for use in drawings or other documents

We Prefer

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program.
• Strong interest in infrastructure and transportation.

The approximate pay range for Washington is $25.28 - $37.92. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
