Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern in Indiana to gain hands-on experience on real-world projects across transportation, municipal engineering, and environmental disciplines. You’ll apply classroom concepts while working with seasoned professionals in a collaborative setting.

You will contribute to site design, surveying, GIS, CADD and planning tasks, helping advance communities while developing your technical skills and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's program in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, ArcGIS or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams by applying engineering and design principles.
• Review site plans for code compliance.
• Participate in construction observation to verify specs.
• Assist survey crews on-site and learn field techniques.
• Help prepare reports, exhibits, and technical docs.
• Gather and organize data from field visits for planning.
• Join internal meetings to learn real-world workflows.
