Bohler’s Manhattan office is offering a Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) position for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in site design and land development, collaborating with engineers and project managers on real-world projects from concept to construction.

You will learn AutoCAD Civil 3D workflows, zoning research, and field observations while contributing to team goals in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-starter attitude with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient).
• Curiosity and motivation to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

About The Role

Bohler’s office in Manhattan, NY is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real‑world site design projects. As a Summer 2027 intern, you will gain insight into the daily operations of a civil engineering firm and understand the complete site development process, from concept to construction. By working alongside engineers, designers, and project managers, you will gain hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, supporting the design and permitting of commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed‑use developments.

What You’ll Do

• Experience the day‑to‑day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm
• Learn the stages of the land development and site design process
• Enhance your technical skills with hands‑on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to design:

Pay Transparency

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

The base pay range for this role is $25 – $30 per hour.
