JT Engineering, Inc. invites civil engineering students to join our summer 2027 internship program across Wisconsin offices in Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire.

This hands-on role provides exposure to highway and bridge design, construction site visits, and real-world project collaboration. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team in highway and bridge design tasks for active projects.
• Draft roadway layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D under supervision.
• Perform basic design calculations and assist with engineering tasks.
• Prepare design reports and technical documents for team coordination.
• Participate in construction site visits and assist with inspections.
• Check field data and calculations to maintain project integrity.
• Learn highway plans and specifications by working with project materials and guidance.
• Assist with CAD drafting or cost estimating tasks to gain project exposure.
