Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Seattle office is seeking engineering students for an in-person internship in Seattle, WA. This is not a remote position and offers hands-on experience across civil and environmental projects.

You will analyze and QC deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, GIS and related software, assist with pre-construction design, permitting, and coordination with project managers and teams. This role provides exposure to regulatory standards and a path toward professional licensure.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients’ visions for the built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
