Job summary

Ferrovial and its Webber subsidiary are offering a 12-week internship in Texas for Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or Construction students. You will gain hands-on experience in safety, surveying, project supervision and field engineering across multiple divisions, gaining exposure to plans, layouts, quantities, and productivity planning.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or Construction related 4-year program.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Familiar with BIM basics.
• Able to perform field-based construction activities and basic surveying.
• Solid mathematics and construction math fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist safety, survey and estimating activities during internship.
• Support project supervision and field engineering tasks on site.
• Learn to interpret plans and set layouts for projects.
• Assist in quantity surveying and material takeoffs.
• Contribute to time and effort estimates for production.
• Communicate plans and progress to field crews and supervisors.
