Responsibilities include field tasks, plan reviews, take-offs, and preparing RFIs. Strong communication and time management are essential, with a path toward a career in heavy civil construction management.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Interest in a post-graduation career in heavy civil construction management.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers with field tasks.
• Review project plans to maintain defined scope.
• Prepare work plans and track costs.
• Complete safety, survey, and quality control tasks as required.
• Support estimating, scheduling and related software.
• Prepare RFIs, Submittals, correspondence, staking requests, update logs.
