Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is a multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm with six locations, offering civil site, structural, land surveying, and GIS services.

The Civil Engineering Intern will support CDI's mission by contributing to projects in Site, Transportation, Structures, and Water Resources, under supervision. The internship emphasizes meaningful work and career-building, with opportunities to learn surveying, drafting, and design practices on job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be a full or part time student seeking a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering fundamentals, surveying, drafting, and general civil engineering design/construction practices.
• Ability to assist in the field or on job sites.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment.
• Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new concepts.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, the intern will assist in surveying and engineering to support a variety of design projects.
• Assist in field work or on job sites as needed.
• Support project tasks in coordination with the team.
