Schnabel Engineering in Portland, Oregon, invites motivated Civil Engineering students for a temporary full-time internship from May through August 2027. You will gain practical experience by applying professional principles to real problems under senior engineers’ guidance, in a collaborative, project-driven environment.

The internship focuses on geotechnical, geostructural, and related disciplines, offering exposure to field investigations, design tasks, and analytical work, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Civil engineering background required.

• Support from senior engineering personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in geotechnical investigations, retaining wall/excavation support design, hydrology and hydraulic studies; and reinforced concrete design.
• Preparing construction plans.
