Job summary

HNTB Corporation is hiring Summer Internship Program interns for Austin, Round Rock, and San Antonio offices across Construction, Rail, Transit, Roadway, Structures, and Transportation Planning. Interns will assist engineering teams with research, drawing preparation, and project development under supervision.

Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Understanding of engineering, geometric and algebraic principles at a basic level.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
